A website

Well school is going to start again soon, so I'm in a mad rush to finish projects. I don't have much time left though since I'm going on a short vacation early next week... and then I'll be missing the first day of school because I'll be in New York City watching tennis. Anyway, here are a couple renders from some projects.

This is my attempt at making water. It is actually animated with waves and everything, but my server doesn't have much bandwidth... maybe someday in the future I'll upload it. I'll be playing around with this project in the future since I didn't really experiment with the lighting much yet.

This started as an exercise for simple character rigging (adding controls to the character for animation), but since then it has developed into a short. So far the animation just has the intro music playing and a dolly in to the anchor welcoming people to the show. I'm hoping to finish this animation before school begins, though I doubt that will be possible. I still need to cover particle effects more indepth before I start making the rest of it.

I'm done with my "job" (teaching tennis for 11 hours a week), so now I should have more free time. Though most of this freetime will probably be put into getting sleep, I hope to work on some projects, too. The projects being learning music theory and working on some 3d animation. Using the music theory I hope to compose some songs. I've already done one... but to be completely honest, it is far too awesome to be put on the internet... by which I mean, it sucked. I've also started work on a CG animation for a contest. I'm currently working on learning sprite and particle effects before I progress with that.
In other completely pointless news, I am still trying to think of a title for this site. For the time being, though, I think "A Website" sums it up pretty well.
About this site
I made this site as an attempt to learn HTML and CSS. All HTML and CSS coding is rather basic. If you are interested in learning check out HTML Dog for a quick intro to this stuff. You can also use google to search for HTML and CSS tutorials.
